had environmental camp today
but its not really a camp,
cos its only one day, and we dont get to stayover,
however camp sounds better than environemental CIP.
so there. our class had like 6-7 pple turned up,
cos kristy was one of the organisers!
jenni, eunice and i were in charge of the booklets and we had it done before today
was quite well done luh i guess :)
so yupps had some games and then Terrarium Workshop was funnest!
before this, i never knew what a terrarium was.
ok so basically Terrarium is like a mini garden in a bottle!
and u may ask how is this relevant to our camp
cos making a garden has no link to environmental camp at all.
but actually the terrarium is like Mother Earth, because its self subsistent
u do not need to take care of it at all,
just have to put it in a place where there is sunlight but not to strong or else it'll dry up
and it does not need to be watered, because when the plant transpires,
the water droplets will condense on the cool glass and drip back into the soil
so its like the Earth's water cycle! cool right :D
these are the two plants my group used in our terrarium
and the big stones in the foreground are used as a form of "drainage system"

after that, we took the chartered bus to east coast park.
heres what i saw during the bus ride
"break ass to open"
this is roughly the 400m we had to cover
from here to the breakwater over at the far far end there
(if u can see it)
jenni & i completed 400m of walking!
tired from walking
jenni decided to not only clean the beach
but as well as the water :)
can u see the white rubbish thingy that she was trying to fish? :)
YAY! finally got it! after many attempts!

driving licence all the way from Hong Kong!
wow it took 30 years to reach singapore!

"Lols after all these photos we cycled back..
it was really funfunfun lols i dono how to emphasize haha
lols it was also funny how i cld pedal slowly..
and yet overtake jiahui when she is pedaling faster lol!
in the end she won though (becos i let her xD)
then becos both of us pedaled so fast that we left the rest behind o.o
then heard that yiming had swerved to avoid a girl..
slightly injuring her left elbow and knee in the process =.=
lucky her and lucky that small girl =.=
After returning our bicycles we headover to parkway parade for dinner..
the only thing that it wasn't a smooth journey in the end...
because we got lost arghhhhhhhh....
well mark led us through this particular path..
that donno took us donno whr in the end =.=
then jiahui tried another direction..
and luckily we managed to find a busstop...
but the lamo stuff wasn't over yet...
when looking at the bus directory at the bustop..
we found out that no bus went to parkway parade or so we thought..
we decided then that maybe head over to orchard or holland to eat..
but luckily we found out how dumb we were just in time lols..
cos guess wad.. we were supposed to be boarding from the opp busstop =.=
and parkway parade was just the next stop only..." ~mel
yes yes. the stupid bus stop incident. dont remind me.
we feel totally dumb.
had our dinner @ parkway parade and then headed to shop!
although it was quite late.
we went to borders!
saw a few cool stuff there.

cool metal pencil cases.
so back to school style :D
