OXFORD HEELS
i have many things to blog about!
especially my shopping spree with suanhin to club21 sale.
i bet most pple are blogging abt how much discount they got there.
they have some rather good finds!
but. i shall blog about oxford heels which im totally crazy about right now! :D

apparently i read somewhere saying that oxford shoes were for men. during the 30s.
n then when WOMEN infiltrated the male-dominated workforce, heels empowered them!

but i dont really like this one cos of the brown heels, doesnt match at all, perhaps same colour as the brogued cap seam will make it look less weird)

well no i haven exactly quit blogging yet,
unlike my sec 1 n 2 blog, this one is still alive for now.

DAY 01, Reached Luoyuan! 15-11-2008, Saturday
OCIP CHINA 2008
hi finally decided to blog about my china ocip trip
cos i felt that it was an enriching experience
and i wish to share it with u guys! :D
well this trip was the best overseas trip i ever had.
because even though i went for xchange programmes overseas with my old sch before.
i never really interacted with the students.
and that time, although it was also China students that we had
our exchange programme with, i din felt the special bond i shared with the people & the place as i did this trip.
most importantly, i felt that what made this trip great was the people in OCIP CHINA 2008 itself!
thoroughly enjoyed myself!

DAY 01
so basically, first and foremost.
we have to take the plane to China. because
it is quite obvious that we are neither going by land nor sea.
so we are left with the last option!
by clouds. nah im joking.
by plane.
the 24 unique individuals(including me! :D)
were split into 4 groups, 6 unique individuals in each group
3 unique ladies and 3 unique gentlemen make up each special group
and the 4 groups made up our OCIP CHINA 2008!

CHANGI AIRPORT.
ok lemme introduce my wonderful groupmates
left to right: JIAjun(my bro) JIAhui (ME!) Peiwen (pjfreak- thats what grp 2 guys call her), ruixian (eskimo), peter (eskimo's husband), kailiang (freakazoid)
well, u may be wondering why we call ourselves
"Baker's Hut"
nopes we are not trying to promote our school canteen stall.
the food there sucks. and they cant afford to pay us to advertise for them.
the reason is because.
we are very good bakers
(esp the 2 leaders kailiang and ruixian)
trust me, we bake delicious delightful chocolate cake.
yum yum.
this was the back of our plane tickets.
how very welcoming.
fast forward.
plane food wasnt v good,
but felt wonderful cos was super hungry.
the noisy ones were playing indian poker. (HOHOHO)
the quiet ones are sleeping.
and even quieter ones like meself & pw.
resort to listening to music.
chinese music. not bad. love 5 yue tian & jolin.
5 yue tian sings HAPPY SONGS!

this was the airport we alighted at.

even if u are monolingual. (exception blind pple)
o we reached the school at 11pm!
and it was obviously v dark.
cos its so late n its winter.
but there were many many students who welcomed us!
i din think they would stay up to welcome us cos it was alr so late
and not only that, they welcome us with fireworks!
we truely felt honoured.
like VIPs. :D

in singapore, we have skinny jeans for skinny asses
in China, they have skinny benches for skinny asses
