the recent hooha about white rabbit.
no not the white rabbit rabbit.
the white rabbit sweet.


finally decided to read newspapers
because it sorta finally concerns me in a supposedly direct way.
not that i love eating white rabbit sweets or that it is the only sweet i eat
BUT.
OUR SCHOOL CANTEEN SELLS WHITE RABBIT SWEETS
and i rmb offering nigel one during chem lect!
which of cos duh he refused.
n of cos which i turn a deaf ear to him telling me
"i tot they ban white rabbit cos they are from china"
or smth like that a few weeks ago..

back then i tot nigel was just being himself,
careful and yeah nigel-ish.
(that time i was eating some cola sweet and happily cracking it away
n he was like "dont crack ur sweet, will spoil ur teeth",
whisper to me somemore,
i tot as if it was smth of utmost impt,.
then i couldnt hear so i keep huh-ing.
n finally when i got what he was trying to say
ie. to not crack my sweet
i was like =.=)

so anyway!
im reading the newspaper now!
ok lemme tell u what it says:

ok apparently White rabbit creamy candy , dutch lady strawberry-flavoured milk &
Yili Choice Dairy Fruit Bar Yoghurt are contaminated with melamine.

so basically if u do not know what happened for the past 3 days that is giving WHO a major headache,
china milk products, esp those for infants.
are found to be contaminated with melamine

melamine - added artifically to diluted milk to increase protein content

so ya milk products and confectionery items from China are swept off singapore's shelf
(our very efficient PAP! :))

so when buying tidbits.
CHECK WHERE IS IT FROM FIRST.
and then think twice about buying it.
